MuseView is local-first by design. Documents you import and edit stay on your device by default; data is sent to related services only when you purchase, restore purchases, or actively request AI summaries.

How We Use Data
To open, preview, edit, save, and export documents you choose.
To maintain recent documents and reader settings.
To confirm Apple purchase status and unlock corresponding features.
To generate summaries, key points, action items, and tags when you actively use AI summaries.
To record necessary usage, security, and error information for usage management, purchase processing, abuse prevention, and service reliability.
To respond to support requests you send by email.
No Tracking or Advertising
MuseView currently includes no third-party advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or advertising identifier collection, does not sell personal data, and does not share data for cross-app or cross-site advertising tracking.
Third-Party Services
Apple is used for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and subscription management.
Zuuzii services are used for optional AI summaries and StoreKit subscription credential verification.
AI summaries may call AI model services to process document content you actively submit; this content is used to generate that summary result and maintain service reliability, not for advertising tracking.
Retention and Deletion
Local documents and settings are stored on your device. You can delete recent documents or uninstall the app to remove local data.
AI summary requests, usage, and security records may be retained in anonymized or minimum necessary form where required for legal, accounting, abuse prevention, or service security purposes.
