Privacy Policy

MuseView is local-first by design. Documents you import and edit stay on your device by default; data is sent to a server only when you actively configure and use network features.
| Local documents | Markdown, HTML, and text file contents, titles, file types, recent records, and edited managed copies. |

| Apple sign-in | Apple user identifier plus display name and email if you choose to share them. The current app stores these values locally on your device. |
| Profile | Nickname and avatar data you set in the app, stored locally on your device. |
| AI summary | When you actively request an AI summary, the request includes document title, type, content, word count, line count, locale, and document hash. |
| API settings | API Base URL and API Token are stored locally. During AI summary requests, the token is sent as an authorization credential to the configured server. |
How We Use Data
To open, preview, edit, save, and export documents you choose.
To maintain recent documents and reader settings.
To generate summaries, key points, action items, and tags when you actively use AI summaries.
To verify access and API tokens.
To respond to support requests you send by email.
No Tracking or Advertising
MuseView currently includes no third-party advertising SDKs, does not sell personal data, and does not share data for cross-app or cross-site advertising tracking.
Third-Party Services
Apple is used for Sign in with Apple and App Store distribution. Zuuzii API defaults to https://api.zuuzii.com/v1 and powers the optional AI summary feature.
Retention and Deletion
Local documents, account cache, avatar, settings, and API tokens are stored on your device. You can delete recent documents, sign out, remove API settings, or uninstall the app to remove local data.
If you used Zuuzii server-side features, contact [email protected] to request deletion of account-related server records.
